We need to support the Voice to Parliament because we cannot wait any longer to start the process of reconciliation with First Nations people in this country.
This land was stolen, and its sovereignty never ceded. Since then, Indigenous people have at every stage been place at a disadvantage.
A Voice will provide the opportunity for real, material change through the process of dialogue between Indigenous people and our Government, as well as provide the first step on a long road towards true reconciliation that includes Treaty and Truth.
As a musician and an artist, it is absolutely important that we support the Uluṟu Statement from the Heart, and that means saying Yes to the Voice.
